Beginner’s Mosaic Workshop, Roman Inspired, with Amal Akhnoukh

This hands on beginner mosaic workshop takes place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Ghurnata Community Space.
Led by Amal Akhnoukh, the session introduces participants to Roman inspired mosaic techniques, drawing from Ghurnata’s architectural details and historical patterns. Attendees will learn the basics of mosaic composition and create their own geometric mosaic tile using marble and ceramic pieces.
No prior experience is required. All materials are provided, making the workshop accessible to beginners and anyone interested in heritage crafts, design, and hands on artistic practice.
