One Thousand and One Nights at Cairo Opera House Main Hall

The Cairo Symphony Orchestra presents One Thousand and One Nights at Cairo Opera House Main Hall on Saturday January 31 2026 at 8:00 pm. The evening features a classical program spanning orchestral storytelling and symphonic color, opening with Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, followed by Maurice Ravel’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in G major with pianist Seif El Din Sherif as soloist. The night concludes with Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov’s Scheherazade Symphonic Suite, a landmark work inspired by the tales of One Thousand and One Nights. The concert is conducted by Ahmed El Saedi and performed by the Cairo Symphony Orchestra in the Opera House Main Hall.
