El Natta at Rawabet Art Space

El Natta is a theatrical performance set in Ramsis Square, unfolding over the final eight days before the end of the world. With an approaching asteroid and a known countdown, the story focuses on how people respond when faced with an unavoidable disaster rather than the disaster itself.

Through multiple characters, the performance explores different human reactions including fear, denial, humor, chaos, and unconventional attempts to cope and survive. Each day of the narrative moves closer to the end, revealing new aspects of the characters and the surrounding place. El Natta presents ordinary people in an extraordinary situation, approaching the idea of an ending with an Egyptian sensibility shaped by resilience, subtle sarcasm, and persistence until the final moment.

النتّة هو عرض مسرحي تدور أحداثه في ميدان رمسيس خلال الأيام الثمانية الأخيرة قبل نهاية العالم. مع اقتراب كويكب معروف وبدء العدّ التنازلي، يركّز العمل على ردود أفعال الناس في مواجهة كارثة حتمية أكثر من تركيزه على الكارثة نفسها.

من خلال مجموعة من الشخصيات المختلفة، يستعرض العرض أشكالًا متعددة من التفاعل الإنساني مثل الخوف والإنكار والضحك والفوضى ومحاولات غير متوقعة للتأقلم والبقاء. ومع كل يوم يقترب فيه الزمن من النهاية، تنكشف طبقات جديدة من الشخصيات والمكان. يقدّم عرض النتّة حكاية أشخاص عاديين في ظرف استثنائي، يواجهون فكرة النهاية بروح مصرية تمتزج فيها المرونة والسخرية الخفيفة والإصرار على الاستمرار حتى اللحظة الأخيرة.
