GEM Family Weekend

Join us in celebrating spring with the second edition of Family Weekend at the Grand Egyptian Museum!

This special festival invites families to come together and celebrate the season through a wide variety of activities. From hands-on craft workshops, fun outdoor activities and entertainment to delicious food and artisanal crafts, the event offers something for every member of the family to enjoy.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the museum, the festival highlights Egypt’s unique way of celebrating Spring.

Enjoy a weekend filled with creativity, playfulness, and shared experiences, all in a setting that fosters family bonding and community.

RULES:
The event is designed for children aged 6 and above. Children under the age of six (6) may enter free of charge. If they wish to participate in activities, a ticket must be purchased onsite.
Visitors may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.
This ticket grants entry to the event and complex grounds but does not include access to the Main Galleries or the Children’s Museum. Separate tickets for these areas can be purchased on-site.
Parking is available on site for a fee
Event starts at 11 AM and ends at 8 PM
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times and for determining the suitability of activities for each of their children’s preference and age.
No outside food or beverage is allowed on the premises, as it will be available for purchase
Any prohibited items or behaviors will not be allowed within the event area
The museum and event grounds are wheelchair accessible. Respectful behavior towards staff, other visitors, and the event space is expected.
All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
