We left a piece of our hearts at Almaza Bay – or Almaza Bae as I like to call it!

The Travco Properties owned 5-star resort had us over for a weekend, and my oh my, it was the weekend of our dreams! The Strawberry Moon weekend was packed with hip events and activities including Sammy’s Beach’s opening party, beach parties accompanied by some cool tunes by ADHD and delish bites by The Cookery Co., and an outdoor movie night with some more mouthwatering snacks by The Cookery Co.

Resort Overview

Named in Arabic after the word “Diamond”, the resort consists of 5 hotels, each with a unique character, but all overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

Starting with Jaz Almaza Beach, aimed for visitors looking for a getaway far from the busy city life and into a relaxing experience!

Opened in May 2009, overlooking a private white sand beach and crystal clear waters, Jaz Crystal Resort is the second major development in Almaza Bay and remains one of the most iconic ones.

For the ultimate luxurious destination, the latest addition to the resorts – Jaz Tamerina is the perfect fit! With breath-taking Architecture, glamorous rooms and a variety of facilities, your vacation will never be forgotten.

With immense appreciation to Oriental traditions, Jaz Oriental Resort focuses on transferring the Oriental vibes through their outstanding designs, exclusive views and tranquil atmosphere. It is anticipated to be one of the major attractions of Marsa Matrouh, especially with its private beach and untouched nature.

Last but not least, for those who love comfort and uniqueness, Jaz Almazino brings you just that with its low rise buildings surrounded by serene gardens all around!

Dining Experience

One thing that remained consistent among those resorts is food! We’ve hopped all over, tried a variety of restaurants and we must admit, the quality and service we received was top notch, no exceptions! You can find almost all cuisines you’re looking for, whether you’re in the mood for Asian, Oriental, International, Italian, Mediterranean, all you have to do is ask.
